Deepen your understanding of Christ's teachings by downloading a weekly, self-leading Bible study guide using the links below. These guides will help prepare you for the coming Sunday's scripture readings, or revisit the readings from previous worship services.
The Lutheran lectionary (readings for each Sunday morning) is a three-year cycle (Year A, Matthew; Year B, Mark; Year C, Luke; with the Gospel of John interspersed through the other Gospels).
New guides are posted regularly, and older guides will remain available as a resource for those interested in learning more.
*Editors' Note 12/21/2017:
Wishing you all a blessed Christmas as we open our hearts to receive Jesus the Christ into our world and into our hearts and lives.
May we join him in bringing in the Kingdom of God!!!
*Editors' Note 11/20/2017:
Wishing you all a blessed and special Thanksgiving, filled with gratitude and praise for all of God's abundance and for all that God is doing in your lives.
Christ the King is the last Sunday in this church year (the year of Matthew). This is the end of 6 years of putting together these Gospel Bible Studies. We have decided that we are up to another year, but not sure when we will start. We will send out the previous (Mark) Gospel studies until the time we begin to update these studies. Putting together these studies has been a life-giving project for us. Thank you for being faithful users of these Bible Studies.
