Come learn about working as a meal volunteer at Chico's Torres Shelter.

This one-time informational meeting is offered on Wednesday, Feb 15, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 pm in the Parish Hall.

The Torres Shelter provides meals, housing and support services to more than 100 guests per night.

Founded in 1998, the Torres Shelter is the largest emergency shelter in Chico and is the only local year-around shelter where men, women and families with children can check in 365 day a year.

Last year alone, Torres services provided meals and a safe alternative to our streets and creeks for more
than 700 people. The fastest growing population at the Shelter continues to be families; last year Torres served 54 families with children.

Come learn how you can participate as a volunteer in support of this important community program!
