My house shall be a house of prayer for all people.
— Isaiah 56:7

Sundays @ 8:30am & 11:00am

We celebrate God’s great love and grace every Sunday with a holy meal, powerful preaching, and eclectic music, in a place that intentionally invites everyone to participate fully in the worship life of our community.

Children Are Welcome Here

Staff and assistants help children take an active part in worship. The children’s area allows them to see what’s going on and participate in age-appropriate activities.

The musicians rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings and lead music most Sundays from September through May.

We sing a wide variety of sacred choral music at the 8:30am service, including classic masterworks, hymns, gospel and global music, and songs from the Taizé and Iona Communities, led by a 20+ voice choir, organ, piano, brass and other instrumentalists. The choir consists of singers with little choral experience to student Choral Scholars from CSUC and professional musicians. The choir also sings for local events including an annual Advent/Christmas Lessons and Carols with St. John Episcopal Church that raises funds for a local non-profit to the Chico Interfaith Choir Festival at the Latter-Day Saints Chapel.

We sing an equally diverse mix of music at the 11:00am service led by a talented group of singers supported by guitars, piano, keyboard, and percussion. At any service we might sing a favorite old hymn to a new beat or an unplugged version of a song from a popular recording artist. We also venture into the sounds of the global church, singing music from Latin and South America to Africa and Asia.

You don’t have to be a “member” of Faith to share your talents and love of music with others. We welcome anyone committed to making beautiful music together in a creative and supportive environment. Contact Kevin Anderson if you are interested in participating in our music ensembles.
