Clothes and More Drive

The Social Ministry Team, in accord with the words of Matthew 25:31-46, in which Jesus teaches that God’s blessings will be granted to those who give the necessities of life to the least amongst us, and that giving to these people is the same as giving to Christ personally, is sponsoring a Random Act of Kindness Day activity called the “Clothes and More” donation drive. We are asking for donations of the following items for the North State Shelter Team's Shower Program and for the general community, as these items are currently in short supply: 

New bath-sized towels
Men's and women's underwear
Bras
Sweat pants (especially for larger men)
Men's winter wear
Blankets
Socks
Tampons and pads
Deodorant
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Travel sized soap, shampoo and conditioner

The “Clothes and More” drive starts on February 1, 2022 and runs through February 13, 2022. Donations will be delivered on Random Act of Kindness Day, February 17, 2022. Donations can be dropped off in the church office or in the sanctuary’s entryway. For those wishing to make a financial contribution to support the on-going cost related to operating the shower trailer, checks can be made out to the North State Shelter Team and dropped off at the church office.
