DESCRIPTION:This month’s tangible goods drive supports PATH Scholars. Don
 ations are accepted from July 1 - July 31. Items may be placed in the mang
 er near the altar on Sundays\, or brought to the office during office hour
 s.\nFor the month of July the Greatest Gift Project will be collecting goo
 ds to benefit the Chico State PATH Scholars Program.  This is a program t
 hat supports the educational goals of current and former foster youth\, as
  well as unaccompanied homeless youth. PATH is an acronym for Promoting Ac
 hievement Through Hope. Staff provide personalized financial aid services\
 , counseling\, advising\, and tutoring services as well as connecting stud
 ents with resources on campus and in the community.\n \nMISSION: As part 
 of Faith Lutheran’s “The Greatest Gift Project”\, we are supporting 
 the PATH Scholars with everyday essentials. Without family support and ade
 quate financial resources\, these students often find it difficult to buy 
 necessary items for independent living.\nWe both invite and encourage our 
 Faith Lutheran family to pick one or more of the following items and bring
  them to worship to be placed at the manger beneath the altar starting Sun
 day July 5th and continuing through the month of July.\n\nCleaning supplie
 s (disinfecting wipes\, laundry soap\, dish soap\, sponges\, scrub brushes
 \, etc)\nHygiene products (toothpaste\, toothbrush\, shampoo\, body wash\,
  feminine hygiene\, etc)  \nPaper Products (toilet paper\, paper towels)
 \nGift Cards (Target\, Walmart\, gas\, groceries\, eateries near campus) 
 \n\n \nHOW CAN I MAKE A DIFFERENCE: \n\nYou can help by adding a few of 
 these items as you are out doing your regular shopping and by bringing the
 m to church on Sunday morning or during the week. \nSpreading the word to
  family\, friends and neighbors and inviting them to share in the giving c
 ommunity that we know Faith Lutheran is. \n\n \nEvery donation\, big or 
 small\, helps uplift and support current and former foster youth\, as well
  as unaccompanied homeless youth at Chico State.
