Lonely? Sad? Discouraged?

Going through a tough time - - emotionally or spiritually? Struggling with a crisis in life? Or simply feeling down? Consider letting a Stephen Minister help. A Stephen Minister is a member of our congregation who is trained to listen, care, encourage, pray, and walk alongside you during difficult times. It's confidential, free, and very helpful.

Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. -Galatians 6:2

Stephen Ministers listen non-judgmentally to their care receivers to provide support, encouragement, and prayer. It's confidential, too; the identity of those receiving care and what is discussed in the caring relationship remains private. Stephen Ministers and their care receivers typically meet one hour a week for as long as is needed. Stephen Ministers help those who are facing difficult situations such as:

Death of a loved one

Mild to moderate depression

Serious or life-threatening illness

Job loss

Compassion fatigue

Coming out

Physical disability

Natural disaster

Care for a special-needs child

Unplanned pregnancy

Parenting struggles

Empty nest

Trouble with the law
