Backpack & School Supply Drive

This year’s backpack and school supply drive will be from July 1^st through July 31st, culminating with the “Blessing of the Backpacks” during worship on August 7^th. This year’s drive will benefit the students at Fair View High School. We are hoping to provide backpacks and targeted supplies for up to 50 students. Additionally, we are hoping to raise $500.00 through financial donations to fund the establishment of a school library in the school’s multipurpose room. Donations can be dropped off in the Church foyer prior to worship or at the office, Monday through Friday. For more information contact Doug De Soto at 530-354-1453.

Supplies needed:

• 3 ring binder(1 inch, no red or blue colors)
• two-pocket portfolio folders (with no prongs, no red or blue colors)
• 0.9mm mechanical pencils
• 09mm mechanical pencil lead refills
• 17-inch lightweight student backpacks (no red or blue colors)
• basic 8-digit calculators (no red or blue colors)
• 3x5 inch index cards, white
• spiral notebooks, 1 subject, college ruled (no red or blue colors)
• financial donations go to the establishment of a library in the school's multi-purpose room. Funds will be used to purchase books, library resources, and equipment. Make checks payable to Faith Lutheran Church, memo line: School Library.
