Facility Rentals
Faith Lutheran Church serves as a venue for weddings, funerals and memorial services, receptions, Anonymous group meetings, community food prep and distribution, educational classes, children's events, music concerts, day camps, and so much more! Our congregation considers our facilities to be a gift we are eager to share with local serving organizations. We ask only for reimbursement for the utilities, audio, and custodial expenses, and that you reciprocate by careful adherence to the Facility Use Guidelines. Sanctuary
This is where worship, weddings, concerts and memorial services take place. Originally constructed in 1950, this building has since been renovated and includes:
- Windows whose natural light illuminates the wood panels of the steeple
- A spacious entryway/narthex
- A grand piano
- A pipe organ built in 1990 by Russel & Co.
- Comfortable seating for up to 350 people, including spaces for walkers and wheelchairs
- An A/V system capable of recording and streaming special occasions
- A cry room for small children
- Tall banners in a variety of colors and styles
- Wooden, hand-carved baptismal font and altar. These are able to be moved out of the way for events to free up space
Fellowship Hall
Our social hall hosts dinners, receptions, educational classes, games, shelter for the homeless, music, and any many things in between.
- Occupancy of 240 people; dining capacity of 107
- Comes with fold-out tables and chairs. 8 feet and 6 feet rectangular tables are available
- This room has direct access to our kitchen, and our outdoor columbarium.
- Video monitor and computer available
- Room contains upright piano
Kitchen
Faith Lutheran Church is equipped with a commercial kitchen that serves the needs of its parishioners and the needs of the Chico community alike
- Butte County Public Health certificatied commercial kitchen
- Gas range stove/oven with up-to-code Ansul fire suppresant system
- Large refrigerator; medium size freezer
- Plates, dishes, utensils
- Cookware
- Indistrial dishwasher and sink
- Please be advised that Faith Lutheran Church is unable to accomodate for-profit businesses. If you are a local business looking for commercial kitchen use, give us a call and we are happy to help you find one!
Classrooms
Our classrooms are used for education, art, music classes, anonymous groups, group or one-on-one meetings, and many, many things in between.
- 3 small classrooms, can fit about 10-15 people
- 1 medium classroom, can fit about 15-20 people
- 1 large classroom, can fit about 20-30 people (pictured)
- Rooms are centrally heated/cooled
- Each room contains large windows for natural lighting; all rooms EXCEPT the room pictured come with adjustable blackout curtains
Courtyard and Outdoor Spaces
Outdoor spaces at Faith include:
- A patch of lush lawn in our courtyard with a beautiful oak tree; watch it change colors throughout the seasons!
- A play structure for children padded safely with cedarwood chips
- A columbarium where we inter our beloved deceased. This quaint area contains an arbor garden and pond, and comes with benches and a table for enjoying the serenity of God's earth
- All outdoor spaces at Faith are wheelchair accessible
