Faith Lutheran is invested in the lives of its community, and believes faith formation is important as we grow. This is true not just for young kids who go to Sunday School, youth group and confirmation students, but also for those in college and beyond. To participate in any of the ministries listed below, please contact Director of Family Life, Dani Vogel, at dani@chicofaithlutheran.org or by calling (530) 895-3754.

In-person childcare available Sundays

With our youngest kids, we offer Sunday School, during which we sing, pray, do art projects, and learn about God. Our Children’s Worship Area is a welcoming area where our kids can be a part of worship in their own meaningful ways. Students also enjoy activities like the annual Easter egg hunt, Christmas and Advent projects, and the Ash Wednesday Carnival.

Meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month

Our youth group consists of middle and high schoolers. We do everything from hiking to swimming to rock climbing to scavenger hunts to snowshoeing at Lassen to venturing through haunted corn mazes. We are always looking for new and exciting things to do, and want to invite others to join our group!

Meets on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month

Faith Lutheran welcomes young adults ages 18-39. The 2nd Sunday always includes a game or contest where we try to win the "Coveted Blue Jacket." A new, thematic patch is added, and the winner takes the jacket home for a month. A month later, the jacket and a new patch will be up for grabs again! The 4th Sunday is our "chill" day, where we eat food, hang out, and play board or video games in the Fellowship Hall.

Meets on an event-by-event basis

Intergenerational events at Faith are for everyone - - kids, teens, and adults of all ages. From hiking at Bald Rock to Snowshoeing at Lassen; to learning about wilderness survival to creek swims, we always manage to think up ways to get together and explore Butte County!
