Faith Talks is Faith Lutheran Church's monthly newsletter, delivered in print to your home! You can also read an online version here. All are welcome to submit content for Faith Talks including articles, events, pictures, art, or anything else theme-appropriate for the month. Articles are approved by staff.
Though these are not requirements, the following are a GREAT help:
- Send your article via Microsoft Word (not PDF, Excel, or other formats)
- Use size 11, Candara, single-spaced font for the whole article
- Don't make your headers different sizes or fonts
- Refrain from using tables if possible
- If you have photos included in your article, attach them as a separate image file (not a part of your Word doc)
Due dates are deliberately set for next month's edition, for example, if you submit an article by the January due date, it will go out in February's edition...so please make sure to plan your article in advance. Here are 2022's submission deadlines:
February's edition: articles due Sunday 1/16, mailing on Friday 1/21.
March's edition: articles due Sunday 2/13, mailing on Friday 2/18.
April's edition: articles due Sunday 3/20, mailing on Friday 3/25.
May's edition: articles due Sunday 4/17, mailing on Friday 4/22.
June's edition: articles due Sunday 5/22, mailing on Friday 5/27.
July's edition: articles due Sunday 6/19, mailing on Friday 6/24.
August's edition: articles due Sunday 7/17, mailing on Friday 7/22.
September's edition: articles due Sunday 8/21, mailing on Friday 8/26.
October's edition: articles due Sunday 9/18, mailing on Friday 9/23.
November's edition: articles due Sunday 10/16, mailing on Friday 10/21.
December's edition: articles due Sunday 11/20, mailing on Friday 11/25.
January 2023's edition: articles due Sunday 12/18, mailing on Friday 12/23.
