19 Pentecost

Each week, we provide questions based on the sermon. These questions are to encourage you to connect the scriptures to your own life and to invite you to grow deeper in your relationships with others at Faith by discussing the questions together.

Readings: Jeremiah 31:27-34, Luke 18:1-8

Sermon: When we are silent in prayer, we answer "no" for God. But when our whole life becomes a prayer, God answers "yes" through us.

Questions:

1) When have you discovered that an experience of God plucking up and tearing down in your life was preparing the ground for God to build up and plant?
2) When have you been afraid to ask someone for something? Why were you afraid to ask? If you eventually asked them, how did they respond?
3) How can your daily activities become a prayer for God's justice?
