23 Pentecost

Each week, we provide questions based on the sermon. These questions are to encourage you to connect the scriptures to your own life and to invite you to grow deeper in your relationships with others at Faith by discussing the questions together.

READINGS: ISAIAH 65:17-25, LUKE 21:5-19

SERMON: When even paradise seems imperfect, may we remember that the Kingdom of God is not where we are but how we are in Christ.
QUESTIONS:
1) When have you been excited to visit somewhere, only to find yourself disappointed when you arrived? What caused that disappointment?
2) Where are some of the places that you have been happiest? Why were you happy in those places?
3) If you knew everything that you're working on today would be destroyed tomorrow, which things would you continue to do?
