Music Rehearsals for Fall

Join us for the first handbell choir rehearsal on Tuesday, August 23rd at 4:00 PM! We will be working on music for Reformation, Christmas Eve, and many other services. If you’ve ever thought the bells were fun and that you might be interested, please come and join us! We have a great time, learn a lot of great music, and we also do some partnering with other churches to do some small handbell workshops that have been a big hit. For the first time, the contemporary musicians will be meeting on Thursday evenings starting August 25th at 6:30 PM (immediately following choir) to go over contemporary music and grow in our knowledge of this body of music. This group will be leading much of the contemporary music that we will do in worship each week. All are welcome and encouraged to join us! Sanctuary choir will continue on Thursday, August 25th at 5:00 PM and will remain on Thursday evenings throughout the season. The choir will be working on a number of pieces including music for Reformation, All-Saints, Advent, Festival of Lessons and Carols (joint choir with St. John’s Episcopal), and more!
