Sundays @ 5

Faith Lutheran Church just celebrated 75 years of ministry, and in those 75 years we have offered the love of Jesus Christ, the promise of God's unconditional love, and community. We accept families of every configuration, ministering to their children and to their faith, encouraging each other to love God, ourselves, and our neighbors in tangible ways. We feel our ministry is important to Butte County.

But we realize that (A) we are growing, (B) 9:30 a.m. may be a late start for some, but it's pretty early for others!, and (C) our current, singular service has a particular worship style that isn't everyone's cup of tea. Sometimes, elements of a traditional church service can be confusing or intimidating to those unfamiliar with them, or who have been hurt by a church in the past. 

That's why we're bringing "Sundays @ 5" to Chico. Check out this video, and know that you are invited to participate whether you want to poke your head through the door and check it out, or you want to jam with us. Our goal isn't to fill up our sanctuary, it's to make meaningful connections and share the love of Christ in a way that feeds our spirits, so that we too can reflect that love in our community.

Sundays @ 5 will start on October 19th at -you guessed it- 5pm!
