The COVID-19 vaccine clinic is up and running at Enloe Medical Center, and they are looking for volunteers to sign up to assist at the clinic. For the protection of the volunteers, it is very likely each volunteer will also receive the vaccine, although this is not guaranteed. Volunteers should be prepared for a fast-paced environment with lots of walking and moving, as the clinic is administering 600 doses each day in a small space. Volunteers should bring their own snacks and water, and will be expected to wear a mask at all times. Shifts are 8.5 hours long with 30 minutes built into that for training. Clinical experience is preferred although not required for some positions. To begin the sign-up process, complete the form at this link: https://emcvolunteers.wufoo.com/forms/covid-vaccine-clinic-volunteer-application/ If you have further questions, you may contact Cheryl Mortenson at cheryl.mortenson@enloe.org or (530) 332-4575.
