On September 19th, Faith Lutheran will observe the ELCA's annual "God's Work, Our Hands" Sunday. This year, members of Faith will mark the annual day of service by sponsoring and teaming up with the Butte Environmental Council to remove trash and recyclables from Bidwell Park. This legacy event, in its 34th year, provides the opportunity for our community to work together toward a common goal: protecting our shared natural spaces and waterways, building and deepening relationships, and sharing God's love.

As a reminder, there will be no worship service September 19, however, come at 8:30am for Holy Communion and a blessing from the pastor.

Pre-registration is over, meaning that while you cannot sign up at Faith Lutheran Church, you can still sign up the day-of, on September 19th starting at 8:30am at Hooker Oak Park, 1928 Manzanita Ave. At that time you can connect with Butte Environmental Staff to find the location where Faith Lutheran is doing clean up. Because our community is still at risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus through close contact, there will be no breakfast or lunch this year.
