St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Artois celebrates Oktoberfest every year with delicious German food and fellowship! On the first Sunday in October, over 300 people from around the area come to celebrate their German heritage with bratwurst, sauerkraut, homemade mustard, German potato salad and chocolate cake (German of course).

The whole wider community is warmly invited and it's a great social time with delicious food, music and fun. Also, an old Glenn County map from the 1880s and pictures of Artois in its heyday are on display in Lutheran Hall.
