Wilderness Worship: Salmon Hole

Celebrate the promises of baptism and the beautiful work of the Creator through a trip to Bidwell Park's iconic Salmon Hole. Named for the Salmon who still swim there, Salmon Hole is a deep tranquil pool of water in the Big Chico Creek. It requires a 20 minute hike and steep descent down the side of a cliff to reach. Pastor Ben will lead a baptismal remembrance at Salmon Hole. Though the water at this location is calm and free from undertow, attendees should be both confident on slippery rocks and strong swimmers. Please pack water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, and shoes for both hiking and going in the water. Meet at Faith's parking lot at 3:30pm and please RSVP to either the office or Pastor Ben.
