2 Pentecost

Each week, we provide questions based on the sermon. These questions are to encourage you to connect the scriptures to your own life and to invite you to grow deeper in your relationships with others at Faith by discussing the questions together.

Readings: Galatians 3:23-29, Luke 8:26-39.

Sermon: Demons try to make us feel naked, ashamed, and alone, but in the waters of baptism we are clothed with Christ's glory and united with an eternal family as God's beloved child.

Questions:

1) What are the demonic voices that try to make you feel naked, ashamed, and alone?

2) What are the ways that you hold onto your demons? Why do you hold on to those demons?

3) What sources of water in your everyday life can you use to remind yourself that in baptism you are clothed with Christ's glory and united with an eternal family as God's beloved child?
