Each week, Pastor Ben will send out reflection questions based on the previous week's sermon. These questions are to encourage you to connect the scriptures to your own life and to invite you to grow deeper in your relationships with others at Faith by discussing the questions together.

Scripture: Philippians 3:17--4:1, Luke 13:31-35
Sermon: What we consume consumes us, so Jesus becomes our food that we might be consumed by Christ's love.

Questions:

1) When you are anxious, adrift, or ashamed, what do you consume in search of comfort?

2) How do you see consumption consuming you, the world around you, and your relationship to God?

3) God built our bodies to need to consume to live. God gives us good gifts to consume that we might live. When we bless our food, or pray for people who post on social media, we remind ourselves that our comfort comes not from what we consume, but from the God who provides it.  How might you bless what you consume so that in it you might see the God who gives you comfort?
